Vinho Regional Alentejano
70% Aragonez and 30% Castelão
Residual granite and metamorphic sedimentary soils
Bright rose colored, fresh wine with aromas of watermelon and red berries. The freshness and pleasant acidity fit perfectly together for an apertiv on the terrace in the summer, or a light meal like salad, soup, or fish.
After the harvest the grapes are separated and pressed. After destemming and crushing, the grapes are chilled to 5°C and subject to a cold maceration for 24 hours. Afterwards are the cleaned musts with pure yeasts in stainless steel tanks at a temperature of 14°C until it is cold stabilised. Maturation at a temperature of 8°C in stainless steel tanks until the bottling with membrane filtration.
This wine presents itself intensively purple red, is powerfully structured and aromas of dark fruits, seasonings and orange blossom. On the palate is it complex, and fruity with a slightly herb note.
A lovely blend of butter and exotic fruits. Lots of fruit and good density on the palate. Harmonic and wonderfull elegant at the finish.
