The secret of the quality of our wines lies, in large part, on the ability that we found to the right varieties to be worked in this region with weather conditions so special. The Serra de Monfurado and Atlantic Ocean influence the night temperature and, consequently, the terroir of Montemor-o-Novo (amplitudes up to 25º C). Considering there are mostly granitic soils, in addition to areas of SCHIST METAMORPHIC not, as well as soils of gneisses or related rocks and diorite. They are rarely found or coluviões alluvial soils. The vineyards are in heavy soils, slightly inclined to the South.

We have also some techniques to ensure a precision viticulture and high quality: The enrelvamento the lines, the integrated protection came with a minimum possible health treatments, always in harmony with nature, a high driving with green pruning to reduce the foliage out of sunshine and a pruning adapted to the cultural behavior of vine beyond the control of production through a judicious weeding of curls. The Eng.º José Manuel Valadas, in permanent contact with the scientific innovation, is responsible for the technologies currently in progress. A motive of pride is the fact that our white wines develop aromas of exotic fruits and the reds release subtle floral aromas of orange blossom and violet, such as Touriga.
